MODULE TWO - WRITERS AND ISO 9000 IMPLEMENTATION
The Recommended Documentation Structure (continued)
Level II - Procedures
This level of documentation provides the greatest headaches
to North American businesses, especially manufacturing sectors. While
ISO refers to them as procedures, Level II documents explain the processes
of the organization at a fairly high level, providing no detail as to
how tasks are carried out. The presence of this type of documentation
is usually the sign that an organization is process-based, as opposed
to department-based in its operations.
