MODULE TWO - WRITERS AND ISO 9000 IMPLEMENTATION
The Recommended Documentation Structure (continued)
Level III - Work Instructions
Level III documentation describes in appropriate
detail how something is done. This documentation is usually fairly
detailed and provides instructions for specific operations and can contain
specifications, standards, product lists, etc. Work Instructions can consist
of checklists, visual aids, computer systems, as well as written instructions.
Characteristics of Level III Documentation
Level III documentation provides a link between the Level
II documentation it supports, and the Quality Records necessary to provide
evidence that the procedures are working effectively, and producing the
desired results. Level III documentation is required, "when their absence
would adversely affect product quality".
